After 3 amazing FIERCE fitness challenges (which raised over £50, 000 for Maggie’s & The Beatson) we have decided to change things this year by choosing to raise awareness for a new subject.
This year we will be getting FIERCE for Neurodiversity.
What is neurodiversity?
The word neurodiversity refers to the diversity of all people, but it is often used in the context of autism spectrum disorder (ASD), as well as other neurological or developmental conditions such as ADHD or learning disabilities.
Why have we chosen to bring awareness to Neurodiversity?
This is a subject that is close to the heart of many Born To Be Alive team members. As a group we want to bring awareness to the fact that even though people’s brains, behaviours & abilities can be totally different we all deserve the same respect & understanding. We are all FIERCE & our event we will celebrate…
